OnePlus Nord
OnePlus Nord is a new budget offering from OnePlus, capable of delivering the same Android experience as the OnePlus 8, but at a much cheaper price. OnePlus has all the basics like an AMOLED display, a fast Warp Charge charger, and a big Nord battery. However, it did make some cuts when it came to SoC and construction quality. The OnePlus Nord still has glass in the back, but instead of a metal frame, it is plastic.
The SoC used is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, not the 800 series chip as we often see. However, Nord supports 5G, which is cool. As a complete package, it is really hard to find fault with the OnePlus Nord. App performance and playback are great, take great photos and videos during the day, and the display supports HDR10 +.
The low-light quality image suffers a bit, but that is the only major weakness of this phone. Battery life is very good and one speaker makes a decent sound. One impressive feature of the OnePlus Nord is its ability to take selfie videos at 4K 60fps, which even the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro can do.
iQOO Z5
The original price of the iQoo Z5 is higher than that of the Z3 (which will soon be replaced) but mid-range competing smartphones are generally very competitive in terms of features. Its design is slightly improved and offers a better grip, but still made of plastic.
There is a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which works well while playing games but becomes very dirty. The Z5 finally gets stereo speakers, which work well both while watching movies or playing games. Camera performance is good during the day but not good in low light. This does not make the Z5 look good, as it has to compete with mid-range smartphones that offer better image quality and performance. Battery life is pretty good, though you lose a bit depending on the charging speed. The Z5 certainly doesn’t feel like a stronger step than its predecessor. It offers little improvement, but not enough to make it easy to recommend as the competition offers the best with slightly higher prices.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion
The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 90Hz rear magnification and a central camera stroke. It has a built-in fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button and is rated IP52. You get the camera module three times in the background which comes out very well. It powers the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion MediaTek Dimension 800U processor and is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both variants get 128GB of storage.
Motorola is shipping the Edge 20 Fusion with Android 11 and a MyUX interface with a thin leather upper. The UI sounds like Android stock and is even more customizable. To take photos, this phone has a 32-megapixel front camera. The camera performance on the Moto Edge 20 Fusion was perfect for daylight and closing. The performance of the low-light camera proved to be smooth. Edge 20 Fusion offers a clean Android Stock and will attract budget cleaners.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G
The Nord CE 5G from OnePlus reaches the low end of the smartphone market. OnePlus claims that the name CE stands for Core Edition as the device is able to deliver important smartphone information. The OnePlus Nord covers all the basics in terms of conditioning and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a camera hole for the photo you shot. It also has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display has beautiful viewing angles and a fingerprint scanner that is shown to be quick to open. The smartphone is small and weighs 170gms which makes it comfortable to use with one hand.
OnePlus has selected the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and has 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options. It is available in two types of storage but the storage cannot be expanded because it does not have MicroSD card space.
The Nord CE 5G features a three-camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel angle camera, and a 2-megapixel mono camera. Of the photos you took, it has 16 megapixels. Daytime photos from Nord CE were good but the performance of the bright camera needed to be improved.
OnePlus has installed a 4,500mAh battery in the Nord CE that can bring more than a day’s battery life. It also supports 30W fast charging and comes with a Warp Charge 30T charger in the box.
Vivo V20
The V20 is part of the Vivo V series of smartphones. The company is focused on device design and is made smaller. The Vivo V20 measures 7.38mm in thickness and has a finished gradient pattern on the back. The back panel is made of glass and feels precious when you touch it.
Enabling the Vivo V20 Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC is not the most powerful processor at this price. There is 8GB of RAM onboard and the V20 is available with the last two options, 128GB and 256GB. You also have the option to expand the storage to 1TB.
Packed with 4,000mAh battery smaller than average. Vivo has included a 33W charger in a box that helps the phone charge faster. Conducted a video loop test for 14 hours and 39 minutes which was less of a competition.
It has a rear-facing rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera capable of great photography, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. Previously, it has a 44-megapixel selfie shooter that clicked the photos you took with high resolution. The camera performance was good during the day. The low-light camera performance was moderate and Night Mode did not bring bright output but provided better details.
