Apple iPhone 13 mini review

Apple iPhone 13

If the iPhone 12 and 12 mini were general jumpings forward, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini would be a growing upgrade.

The iPhone 13 and 13 mini is an exciting development and closely follows the iPhone 12 and 12 mini. These new machines are much more flexible than new ones and that is fine as the new design takes your fun time. The good thing about these new iOS devices is that they incorporate the same logo that has defined the iPhone for years.

Both have a faster chip (A15 Bionic), longer battery life (lasting all day), a new camera system (no telephoto lens), and a smaller notch compared to last year’s models. They are a bit tougher than before but that is due to the large batteries inside these electric houses. The only difference between the iPhone 13 and 13 mini-display sizes is the battery capacity.

So, are these 2021 value-for-money champions? Are these the masses of iPhones? After two weeks with her siblings, the answer is a resounding yes.

What about the iPhone 13 and 13 mini that have never been discussed until death? However, there are two key factors — battery life and camera system — that make it a significant improvement.

It’s all about better battery life

It is 2021 and even though we have been working from home (thanks to the seemingly endless epidemic), there are two important things one can consider when planning to upgrade your smartphone. The first is improved battery life.

It is hoped that by 2022, we will all be free from our homes and be able to enjoy the outdoors. With that in mind, having a phone that lasts all day is very important against the problem of managing a power bank.

The second factor that can influence a person’s decision is which smartphone should choose the camera quality. It is true that photography is an integral part of our daily lives and who would not want a high-end camera? Happily, this is what Apple put first when they go to the drawing board and think about what would make the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini the most “evolutionary” product ever.

Switching to OLED screens from LCD has been ridiculous by 2020 considering factors such as brightness, energy efficiency, and contrast ratio. By 2020, Apple will also add 5G and MagSafe charging systems. iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 are smaller games too.

The iPhone 13 may have a flat aluminum frame and a ceramic shield for better protection against drops but scratches are tedious from day one. In a few days of use, I noticed a large scratch in the middle of the screen. For the first few days, the phone was in my pocket, sitting on a table, or in my hand and I had never seen a single drop. Yet there it was, a great scratch. With an expensive product like the iPhone, this was very disappointing. Protect yourself with screen protection as soon as you remove the box from the smartphone.

The advent of battery life has dramatically changed my view of the siblings who have covered the iPhone 13. While the iPhone 12 battery lasted all day, but slowly, the iPhone 12 mini needed to be charged at 4 p.m. By 2021, that is unacceptable even if we are not out of the house very much.

Happily, Apple made the 180 and replaced it with larger, better batteries on both phones. The iPhone 13 will keep you all day long for medium to heavy use. I easily got over 5 hours on screen at a time with the iPhone 13. The only way to kill it before 6 pm is to take multiple 4K videos (which is a good experience, let me tell you). Most days, the iPhone 13 mini will need to be charged at 9 pm anyway but with light use, it can last a few hours longer.

The performance of both phones is fast, the build quality is really good, the quality of the phones is very clear and playback, though not the best feeling, is very good. If you want to play games, do yourself a favor and get the iPhone 13 Pro with its 120Hz update rate. That’s another downside — phones also have a slower screen (no 90Hz / 120Hz).

Smooth butter with one hand

The iPhone 13 and 13 mini may be a little thicker overall (as well as a larger camera lens and redesigned lenses) but that does not remove the fact that these ‘small’ iPhones are easy to use with one hand. Most Android smartphones are not good at using one hand. The note is also 20 percent smaller compared to the previous one but it is not something you will see immediately.

So, why do I say that it is fun to use one hand? It’s a little hardware and a lot of software. The iPhone 13 has an A15 Bionic chip, which, if you come from a very old smartphone, will feel as smooth as silk. It is well known that iPhones are easy to use no matter your level of expertise in terms of smartphones. Google’s Android OS may offer many customization options but Apple built iOS for everyone to use easily.

Integrate hardware and software with a storage base size of 128GB and you have a winning combination in your hands.

Great daytime photos, cinema mode wins the most

Thanks to the large sensor — which collects more light quickly — on a wide-angle camera, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini are significantly better compared to their predecessors in daytime photography. The details are sharp, the colors are rich and there are no overcrowds. With many daytime shots from these cameras, you can simply point, photograph, and send them to your friends.
